One Life Medical
OneLife Medical is a family owned business that provides Healthcare for life. The Capalaba Surgery briefed Sustainable Marketing to develop a new company name, new brand story, business stationery and organised signage. We also made recommendations on the design of the surgery (including feature wall and furnishings) to bring their brand story to life.

"Originally known as “Capalaba Surgery” we were relocating to Alexandra Hills. We wanted to create an authentic brand that would bring our vision for our business to life. In addition, we wanted to make sure that our image conveyed our brand story in a professional way, consistently through a visual story and key messages. Sustainable Marketing helped us discover our natural brand story. They helped us get an understanding on what makes us unique and made recommendations on how to bring this story to life across everything from the design for our surgery with feature walls and furnishings right through to business cards, appointment cards and magnets. They even organised a feature wall and signage for us. We worked together to develop a new company name.
We are delighted with our new brand, our team love the design, and we believe our patients will feel more welcome and comfortable when they come to see us. Capalaba is a regional centre in the Redlands City. Vibrant, connected a truly unique and responsive place that is warm and welcoming for both shoppers and businesses. Capalaba is clean, green, warm, friendly, diverse, caring, community minded and accessible. A district that is ready to move forward, embrace change with energy and vigour, along with tremendous growth potential. Capalaba has ‘surprisingly more’ to offer.
The Redland City Council briefed Sustainable Marketing to develop a new branding for Capalaba to help promote what is unique about Capalaba and to improve the future prosperity of Capalaba. Key activities included sustainable brand positioning, client insights research, community engagement, comprehensive style guide and grass roots marketing tools to grow brand.

“The goals of the project were to develop a destination brand (including brand positioning, visual identity and brand strategy) for both Cleveland and Capalaba. Maria Anderson from Sustainable Marketing undertook the background research to understand the ‘heart’ of the centres. This was followed by focus groups from each of the regions, to understand their views and gain ideas. From this consultation concepts were generated and revised, and revised, until we were satisfied we had a selection of logos for each centre, using a range of different approaches. These logos and an accompanying range of taglines were then presented back to the local businesses, who voted on the most appropriate. A style guide for each was prepared.
I liked Sustainable Marketing’s approach to the project which included a considerable effort to understand the centres and what they mean to the locals. This enabled the resultant logos to accurately reflect the ‘hearts’ of both Cleveland and Capalaba. Sustainable Marketing was very responsive and flexible to our requests and had a good understanding of what was required. The QCCS Group of companies provides a diverse range of services to the mining and construction industries. QCCS delivers civil construction and building services, QBCT delivers industrial plant and equipment cleaning, Murtro Precast delivers offsite custom concrete casting and Edge Contracting provides construction, maintenance and labour hire solutions. Oz Bin Cleaning are the world leaders for domestic and commercial bin cleaning. They wash, sanitise and dry bins to remove bacteria and odours, while remaining committed to minimising environmental impact. They approached Sustainable Marketing looking for more coordinated and unified marketing.
